Fritz Henze's practice is concentrated in the representation of integrated oil and gas companies, pipelines, local distribution companies, electric utilities, nonregulated electricity producers, and energy traders, as well as lenders to and investors in energy-related businesses. His transaction experience includes mergers and acquisitions, energy marketing, trading and hedging, project and corporate finance, construction contracts, leveraged leasing, investment funds, corporate reorganizations, commercial lending, and securities offerings. Among the clients for which Fritz regularly works are: AREVA, Chevron, International Power America, KeyBank, Midwest Generation, SCANA Corporation, Stewart & Stevenson, and The Williams Companies.

Fritz is a frequent speaker on industry topics, most recently at the Edison Electric Institute's 2007, 2006, and 2005 Master Agreement Training Sessions; the 2004 Annual Forum on New York Power Supply; and the Institute for Energy Law's 2004 55th Annual Oil and Gas Law Program. He has been recognized in BTI Consulting Group's survey of corporate counsel at Fortune 1000 companies for his capability to provide superior client service.

The author of numerous published articles, he is a member (since inception) of the drafting committee for the EEI Master Power Purchase & Sale Agreement. In addition, he is a member of the Institute for Energy Law's advisory board and its Power and Alternative Energy Committee, the Energy Bar Association, the State Bar of Texas, and the State Bar of Arizona.
