Patricia A. Hennessy is a member of the Education and Litigation practice groups. She concentrates her practice in the areas of education reform, primarily with charter schools. Ms. Hennessy advises school administrators and Boards of Trustees on a variety of legal issues including charter applications, renewal, non-renewal and revocation; School Code compliance; special education, student discipline; truancy; commercial and employment issues; operations; accreditation and licensure of administrative and teaching staff; and other administrative matters. She provides training for school administrators and Boards as well as presenting at seminars for charter school related organizations and continuing legal education providers. Ms. Hennessy also maintains an active legislative affairs practice.
