Christi Roy Hemphill is a native of Lafayette, Louisiana. In 1990, Christi graduated from the University of Southwestern Louisiana with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a minor in English. After graduating from USL, she attended law school at Loyola University in New Orleans. She graduated in 1993 from Loyola with her law degree. Upon graduation from law school, she served as a law clerk for the Honorable Robert M. Fleming and the Honorable William D. Hunter, District Judges for the 16th Judicial District Court from 1993 to 1995. She then entered private practice, and practiced at Bernard and Angelle for fourteen years. Christi is admitted to practice in all Louisiana State Courts, as well as the Western District of Louisiana of the United States District Courts.
During her years of practice, Christi has practiced in the areas of personal injury and family law. She also has experience in business litigation, wills and successions, and collections.
Christi currently resides in Lafayette, Louisiana, with her husband and two children. She serves on the Advisory Council of St. Pius Elementary School and was honored as the SPES Outstanding Catholic School Supporter of the Year for 2011. She is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association.
