Jon was raised in small-town Iowa and began practicing law at the Peters Law Firm in 1990. Jon's practice is focused on divorce and/or family law, criminal law, and personal injury/automobile accident litigation. Jon became a partner in the Peters Law Firm in 1995 and is currently the president of the firm. Jon is currently a member of the following organizations: Iowa Bar Association, Nebraska State Bar Association, Texas Bar Association, Southwest Iowa Bar Association, and the Pottawattamie County Bar Association. He was previously a member of the following organizations: Interest on Lawyers Trust Account (IOLTA), and the Young Lawyers Division of Iowa Bar Association. Jon has been active in many local organizations including the Council Bluffs Chamber of Commerce, and Saint Alberts High School Foundation Board.
