Bonnie Hemenway practices in the areas of corporate and commercial litigation and products liability. As a member of the Firm's trial practice, Bonnie's litigation work has involved representations relating to a wide range of fields, including commercial contracts and torts, tobacco products, bankruptcy, and credit reporting agencies under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Bonnie has significant experience in all facets of pretrial, discovery, motion, and trial practice in New York and in other jurisdictions. Bonnie has been extensively involved in representing R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company in smoking and health litigation in New York. Recently, she was part of a Jones Day trial team that secured a $123 million judgment in the Southern District of New York on behalf of American Electric Power in a contractual dispute over the 20-year sale of power from a generating facility in Louisiana.
Bonnie is a member of the American Bar Association, the Association of the Bar of the City of New York, and the New York State Bar Association.
