Elyssa Schnurr, principal of the Law Offices of Elyssa M. Schnurr, is an experienced attorney, mediator and business owner who has practiced law in Houston and the surrounding areas since she was admitted to the bar in 1994.

Ms. Schnurr is a Magna Cum Laude graduate from South Texas College of Law where she was chosen to be a member of the Order of the Lytae and Phi Delta Phi, honors organizations. During law school, Ms. Schnurr received her training in Mediation and has been mediating various types of civil and family cases ever since. For many years prior to attending law school, Ms. Schnurr was an Owner/Manager and President/Vice President of two Texas-based insurance companies and a Texas-based trust company. In 1982, she earned her undergraduate BBA degree in Finance and Marketing from the University of Texas in Austin.
