Ryan Pratt opened Pratt Law Firm in December 2011, because his personal mission is to counsel people through challenging legal problems. He focuses his family law practice on Collaborative Divorce and mediation, and is committed to helping spouses reconstruct their families amidst divorce. He is on the Mississippi Supreme Court mediator list and mediates disputes among families and business.
Ryan Pratt is admitted to practice before all state and federal courts in Mississippi and the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals. He has extensive negotiation experience through his public service as Assistant Secretary of State at the Mississippi Secretary of State’s office, and as an associate attorney at the largest law firm in the State.
He obtained a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Mississippi and a law degree from the University of Mississippi School of Law. While in law school, he was managing editor of the Mississippi Law Journal.
Pratt taught legal writing for three semesters as an adjunct professor at Mississippi College School of Law, and served as the editor of the Mississippi Business Law Reporter. He is on the Madison County Chamber of Commerce board of directors.
He and his wife, Loren, live in Madison County with their three dogs, Scout, Biscuit and Bean.
