C. Andrew Head is Fried & Bonder’s newest partner, joining the firm in January of 2011. A trial lawyer, contributing editor, and frequent CLE faculty presenter, Mr. Head has conducted numerous jury trials and bench trials involving employment and other litigation matters, argued appellate cases before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit and the Georgia Court of Appeals, and served as lead counsel in collective action and multiple party complex litigation cases.
Mr. Head brings to the firm over 15 years of experience in the full range of employment matters, including employment discrimination claims (Title VII, § 1981, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, etc.), employee benefit claims (ERISA), employment contracts, trade secrets and covenants not to compete, and extensive expertise in individual and collective action overtime, minimum wage and other wage and hour disputes under the Fair Labor Standards Act. He has negotiated and litigated executive compensation agreements, shareholder agreements, and ERISA benefit disputes.
Mr. Head serves as a Contributing Editor of The Fair Labor Standards Act Cumulative Supplement, ABA Section of Labor and Employment Law and BNA Books (2007 - Present).
A cum laude graduate of Vanderbilt University, Mr. Head returned to his alma mater and obtained his Juris Doctorate from Vanderbilt University School of Law in 1995, where he served on the Executive Council of the Moot Court Board and received the K. Harlan Dodson Moot Court Award.
