Ion Hazzikostas is an associate in the Litigation Department at WilmerHale. He joined the firm in 2005.
Practice
Mr. Hazzikostas has a general litigation practice that includes experience in white-collar criminal defense, large-scale internal investigations, international litigation, discovery, and appellate brief-writing.
Prior to joining WilmerHale, Mr. Hazzikostas completed a clerkship with the Honorable Raymond Randolph of the United States Court of Appeals for the DC Circuit. While in law school, he was a litigation summer associate with the New York office of a prominent international firm, where he researched and prepared numerous memoranda in connection with a complex multistate class action, assisted in preparation for and attended mediation and negotiation sessions, as well as participated in document review and drafting of motions related to the discovery process.
Recent Highlights
Mr. Hazzikostas is currently working on a large-scale investigation regarding lending practices. He recently participated in the successful defense of a major multinational corporation against an action to enforce a foreign judgment.
