Sheerin Haubenreich's practice focuses on complex litigation with an emphasis on international law. She is currently a member of the legal team representing a major energy company against a foreign government and its state oil company in litigation over responsibility for third-party environmental claims.
As part of her commitment to pro bono service, Sheerin has represented individuals before the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Service and the Social Security Administration, and recently served as a guardian ad litem to a minor child in a custody dispute before the District of Columbia Family Court. Currently, she is working on a team representing a prisoner in a sentencing dispute before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.
