Karen L. Sayre received her undergraduate degree from Gonzaga University in 1980 and her Juris Doctor (Cum Laude) from Gonzaga University in 1985. She is a member of Washington Women Lawyers (Spokane Chapter President, 1988; Woman of the Year, 1991), and the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. She is a Past President of the Women Helping Women Fund, and Past Chair of the Washington State Bar Association Elder Law Section. She served as President of the Spokane Estate Planning Council (2006-2007), and is an Adjunct Professor of Law at Gonzaga University. She is a Certified Elder Law Attorney, and was designated a "Super Lawyer" by Washington Law and Politics in 2000, 2002, 2003, 2005, 2006 and 2007, and is listed as one of the best lawyers in Spokane by Spokane Magazine. She is currently serving on the Board of Regents of Gonzaga University, Spokane, Washington.
