Richard L. Sayre received his undergraduate degree from the University of Washington in 1976, and his Juris Doctorate from Gonzaga University in 1979. He serves on the Spokane County Guardianship Committee, and served on the Washington State Certified Professional Guardian Board from 1998 through 2004, a position appointed by the Supreme Court of Washington. He is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, and served as the President of the Washington Chapter of NAELA in 1995-1996. He is a member of the Spokane Estate Planning Council, and is a past Chair of the Washington State Bar Association CLE Committee. He is a member of the Special Needs Alliance, a Certified Elder Law Attorney and an Adjunct Professor of Law at Gonzaga University. He has been designated a "Super Lawyer" by Washington Law and Politics from 2000 through 2007, and is named as one of Spokane's Best Lawyers in Spokane Magazine.
