Hamlin, C. Judson

Sam's practice focuses on patent litigation and counseling. He has worked with leading technology companies in developing both domestic and international enforcement strategies in complex technology cases. Sam is also integrally involved with the CCVL teams in developing trial strategies for patent cases. Sam has substantial experience in conducting patent infringement and validity studies, negotiating patent licenses, and counseling on patent issues related to mergers and acquisitions.

Sam has employed his background in physics to investigate patent disputes in a wide range of the electrical, electromechanical, software, and optical arts, examples including, medical devices, advanced telecommunications equipment, optical films, military and commercial aircraft components, micro-electro-mechanical systems (MEMS), and laser optics.
