William Britton "Britt" Hall grew up in Daisetta, Texas and attended Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas, where he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in General Business in 1988. After working for 15 years in the newspaper business and in law enforcement, he attended South Texas College of Law in Houston, Texas, graduating summa cum laude in December 1999. He worked three years for the well-known Beaumont firm of Offerman & King, LLP, practicing primarily as a creditor's rights attorney in bankruptcy and state court litigation. He also gained experience representing several business and individual clients in federal court litigation. In 2003 he started a solo practice in Beaumont and Houston that concentrated on consumer bankruptcy representation before joining The Owen Law Firm in 2006 and moving to Conroe, Texas. At the Owen Law Firm he has continued to represent consumers and individuals in Chapter 13 and Chapter 7 bankruptcy cases, but has also expanded his practice areas to include criminal and divorce/family law, real estate transactions and disputes, business litigation and consumer disputes.
