Concentration: Brian Hall is a Philadelphia personal injury attorney who represents injured persons and their families in complex personal injury litigation. He concentrates his practice on medical malpractice, products liability, premises liability, crashworthiness, and automobile and construction accidents.
Experience: In Filter v. McCabe, Brian successfully argued before the Pennsylvania Superior Court to expand the law regarding homeowners’ responsibilities to their guests. He has been a speaker for the Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association on legal practice within the trial courts, and on premises liability issues for paralegals. He handles numerous pro bono cases involving automobile negligence and premises liability, and coordinates the firm’s pro bono program.
Prior to law school, he taught English as a second language in Taipei, Taiwan.
Education: Brian graduated from Temple University School of Law, where he served on a law journal and received awards for outstanding performance in Jurisprudence and Trial Advocacy. He obtained a Master's Degree in literature from Columbia University, and his undergraduate degree at Rutgers University – New Brunswick.
Membership: Brian is admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. He is actively involved in the Pennsylvania and Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Associations.
Community Involvement: When not advocating for victims of personal injury, Brian serves as councilperson and vice-president for Media Borough Council – the legislative body of Media. Brian began campaigning door-to-door for the four-year term in the summer of 2005 and was elected to serve as one of seven Council members several months later. Soon after the election, he was appointed vice-president of the Council.
Brian is proud to represent his constituency on matters ranging from street repairs and potholes to local budget issues. In addition to working on the community development and finance committees, he also acts as Council liaison to the public safety committee and arts council.
Even though his community responsibilities require a significant amount of time and effort, Brian believes it’s all worth it. Through his own community service, he has been able to set a positive example for his daughters and others as well.
