Peter David Rubin has been a Family Law Specialist by the State Bar of California since 1980. He graduated from the University of California -Davis in 1973. He has been self employed since 1975. While originally having a general practice, he now handles nothing but Family Law related cases. Prior to this focus he handled criminal and civil cases.
Since focusing his practice on Family Law he has been President of the Sonoma County Bar Association, a member of the State Bar's Family Law Executive Committee, the Sonoma County Family Law Committee, and teacher of Community Property at Empire School of Law.
Although he has been trained as a mediator his practice is more litigation focused. He deals with all areas of Family Law: Property, Custody (including move away requests), Support, Pension Division, Family Law related issues in tax and bankruptcy.
