Habib, Fahad A.

Born in 1971, Cheryl Row is an Orange County native. She attended high school in Garden Grove, and college at the University of California, Santa Barbara and California State University, Fullerton. While attending the UC Santa Barbara, she wrote for the Daily Nexus, the campus newspaper, reporting on environmental issues. During college, Cheryl was active in local Surfrider Foundation activities while working for the State of California Department of Parks and Recreation. She received her bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice in 1993. 

Immediately after graduating college, Ms. Row attended California Western School of Law, in San Diego. In 1995, she received the Wiley W. Manuel Award for Pro Bono Legal Services for her work in drafting legal documents for the terminally ill. Ms. Row also served as an intern with a non-profit environmental group in San Diego, where she met with community leaders and drafted proposed legislation pertaining to local environmental issues.

Ms. Row graduated and received her Juris Doctorate in 1996.

Cheryl Row worked for prestigious family law firms in Century City (Los Angeles County) prior to joining the Law Offices of Lemkin & Barnes, Inc. in 1998. She received her certification for Specialization in Family Law in 2002. When she became a partner that year, the firm name was changed to the Law Offices of Lemkin, Barnes & Row, Inc.

Cheryl Row is a member of the State Bar of California, Family Law Section, a member of the Association of Certified Family Law Specialists, and a member of the Orange County Bar Association. She served as a member, secretary, and advisor to the Executive Committee of the Family Law Section of the State Bar of California, for whom she reviewed, analyzed, and prepared letters to the legislature in support of and opposing pending legislation.  She has testified before the Senate Judiciary Committee of the California State Legislature in support of family law legislation.   

Cheryl Row is a former member of the Family Law Advisory Committee for Continuing Education of the Bar (CEB). She served as an editorial consultant for the 2007 and 2008 releases of CEB's Practice Under the Family Code.  Ms. Row is also the author of two chapters in the 2006 CEB Publication California Child Custody Litigation and Practice.  She has published law-related articles in committee newsletters and written book reviews.  Ms. Row also was named a "Super Lawyer-Rising Star" by Super Lawyers magazine for the years 2005 through 2008 and 2011.

Cheryl Row lives in Huntington Beach, where she enjoys music, running, hiking, reading, and staying active with her two sons.
