Heidi Gunst's practice focuses on labor and employment litigation and counseling, and she has particular experience advising clients in the railroad industry. Heidi represents clients on matters involving a number of federal and state statutes, including the Railway Labor Act, Title VII, the Family and Medical Leave Act, the Fair Labor Standards Act, and the National Labor Relations Act. Heidi has represented employers in federal and state court litigation as well as agency proceedings before the Federal Railroad Administration, the National Mediation Board, and the EEOC. Heidi also counsels employers on personnel issues such as Fair Labor Standards Act compliance, reductions in force, handbook policies and best practices, and the negotiation of employment and separation agreements.
