Throughout his career, attorney Shane Y. Rooney has represented clients with a wide array of backgrounds, and as a result of this experience, he has come to realize that family law matters are usually difficult, even if everything goes well. Therefore, he believes the practice of family law requires a practical, results-based approach. Whether through settlement, negotiation or aggressive litigation, Shane always represents his client's interests with skill, professionalism, and the highest standard of integrity.

Shane also has a background in commercial litigation, which has given him invaluable experience in understanding and analyzing the intricacies of many complex property and financial issues. Those same issues are inherent in the practice of family law.

Shane has a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from the University of the Pacific and he received his law degree from Seattle University School of Law. In his spare time, Shane enjoys spending time with his family, playing golf, and depending upon the season, he can often be found in the stands at a Mariner or Seahawk game.
