Charlie has also been accepted as a life member of The National Registry of Who's Who.
He is a member of the Minnesota State and American Bar associations. Charlie is a former appellate advocacy instructor at the University of Minnesota Law School and lectures frequently on topics involving complex commercial litigation. He is a former member of the Briggs and Morgan board of directors.
Prior to law school, Charlie received The Wall Street Journal award for excellence in business administration and was a national intern for the Hospital Financial Management Association in Chicago, Illinois.
Born in Canby, Minnesota, Charlie received his B.S. magna cum laude from Concordia College with degrees in hospital financial management, accounting and political science. He received his law degree cum laude from the University of Minnesota Law School. Charlie joined Briggs in 1981.
