Bret A. Roge is a partner in the Transactional Group at Michael Best. Mr. Roge has extensive experience representing a variety of privately and publicly-held corporations, non-profit corporations, limited liability companies, and partnerships in matters concerning business, real estate and tax law, with an emphasis on the transactional and operational aspects of acquiring, forming, operating, owning and structuring businesses. He also has experience in corporate and partnership income and non-profit taxation. Additionally, Mr. Roge has a very broad range of experience handling matters regarding the acquisition and disposition of businesses and business entities; contract negotiations; negotiation of financing arrangements; business restructuring; certain labor matters; the management of litigation; and the acquisition, disposition and leasing of real property.

Mr. Roge provides business and legal counsel to in-house attorneys, and acts in the capacity of general counsel to many other businesses without an in-house legal department.
