Emma Greenman is a member of Maslon's Litigation Group. Before joining Maslon, Emma was a public defender representing criminal defendants in contested hearings, pre-trial proceedings, and jury trials in Minnesota state court. She received her law degree from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law; a master of public administration degree from the John F. Kennedy School of Government, at Harvard University; and her bachelor's degree, summa cum laude, from The George Washington University. While in law school, Emma worked on appellate campaign finance litigation at the Brennan Center for Justice, interned at the Department of Justice Civil Rights Division, and directed a national youth voting rights institute.
Emma brings extensive experience in domestic policy, public affairs and political advocacy to her practice. In her previous career, she worked with elected officials, federal and state political candidates, and national organizations on economic, budget, and social policy issues and advocacy.
