David’s practice focuses on obtaining patents and counseling clients on a range of patent-related issues. He has represented clients covering a broad spectrum of technologies, including Mobile AdHoc Network communications, switching and routing, data centers, uninterruptible power supplies, network-based conferencing/compression, programmable RF transceivers, digital imaging, and semiconductor devices and manufacturing.

David has prosecuted U.S., European and other foreign patent applications in a variety of fields and has assisted with patent portfolio development. He also has been involved in numerous IP transactions and has represented clients in multiple reexamination proceedings. Some representative matters include:

• Represented clients in all aspects of patent reexamination proceedings, including preparation and defense of multiple ex parte reexaminations.
• Drafted and prosecuted many electronic and computer technology patent applications filed with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and other foreign offices.
• Assisted in potential sale of a large portion of client’s patent portfolio, including on-site document review and preparation.
