Michael Duran is a native New Mexican, born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Michael received his law degree from the University of New Mexico where he was on the dean’s list. He is licensed to practice in both the state and federal courts of New Mexico. He is an active member of both the National Hispanic Bar Association and the New Mexico Hispanic Bar Association. He was appointed to the New Mexico Trial Lawyers Advisory Committee by the New Mexico Public Regulation Commission. Michael has worked in the personal injury and civil litigation areas for several years as both a paralegal and an attorney.
Michael is the single father of three children. His two oldest children are students at the University of New Mexico while his youngest attends high school. In his spare time he enjoys the many activities the wilderness areas of New Mexico provide.
