Fred Granade has been a member of Stone, Granade & Crosby since 1980. He and Sam Crosby are two of the firm's founding members. His more than 30 years of experience includes successfully protecting clients' interests in a broad range of legal matters and litigating on behalf of plaintiffs and defendants in state and federal courts.
He represents and advises individual and business clients as well as local governments and governmental boards and authorities. He also represents clients in matters involving estates, wills and trusts in Probate and Circuit Court.
Licensed to practice law in the state of Alabama and in the state of Florida, Mr. Granade is a past president of the Baldwin County Bar Association and served as a law clerk to an Alabama appellate court judge before joining the firm. He is a fellow of the American Bar Foundation and a fellow of the Alabama Bar Foundation.
He has served on the Boards of the North Baldwin County Health Care Authority, the North Baldwin Infirmary Advisory Board, the University of South Alabama Baldwin County Community Advisory Council, the Historic Blakeley Authority and other civic and charitable organizations. Mr. Granade has also served on past Magistrate Selection Committees for the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Alabama, and contributes his services to the Alabama State Bar Volunteer Lawyers Program.
