Graham, Warren R.

Mr. Duva joined the firm in 2002 following graduation from Georgia State University's College of Law and became an equity partner in 2009. Mr. Duva's litigation and trial practice involves major monetary disputes focused in several areas, including litigation of commercial contract disputes, trucking and aviation cases, construction matters and defect claims, banking claims under the Truth in Lending Act, commercial general insurance defense, insurance coverage, and major medical injury causation disputes. Mr. Duva is committed to defending the local aviation, trucking and construction community when claimants target these industries with litigation or threats of litigation. Mr. Duva's experience in cross-examining hired engineering experts and physicians who attempt to use their expertise to assign fault to the firm's clients has consistently led to judicial findings of no liability or minimal damage awards. Mr. Duva has extensive experience in the courtroom dealing with selection of jurors, witness examination, communication with judges and jurors and all other aspects of trial and dispute resolution.

Mr. Duva also serves in the role of outside general counsel to several automobile dealerships advising them on regulatory, employment and advertising issues. Drawing on his experience in professional baseball as a player, Mr. Duva also periodically represents professional athletes as counsel and as an agent.

Mr. Duva was born in Gainesville, FL on August 30, 1972. He currently resides in Norcross, Georgia with his wife and three children. He attended the University of Florida on a baseball scholarship where he received a B.S. in Psychology in 1994. From 1994 to 2000, Mr. Duva played seven seasons of professional baseball with the Cleveland Indians organization and with the Winnipeg Goldeyes of the Independent Northern League. He received his J.D. from the Georgia State University College of Law in 2002, with honors in litigation. During law school, Mr. Duva participated in Georgia State University's Student Trial Lawyer's mock trial program. He now serves as an attorney advisor and consultant to the program. He is a member of the State Bar of Georgia, the Atlanta Bar Association, the Defense Research Institute and the American Bar Association. In 2007,2009 and 2011, Mr. Duva was recognized in the Super Lawyer's edition of Atlanta Magazine as a "Rising Star" and one of the "Top Young Lawyers in Georgia." In 2012, Mr. Duva was recognized as a "Legal Elite" by Georgia Trend Magazine.
