BARBARA F. DUNN is a partner with Howe & Hutton, Ltd. in the firm's St. Louis, Missouri office. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan and her Juris Doctorate from The John Marshall Law School in Chicago where she was a member of the Editorial Board of the John Marshall Law Review. Barbara's practice areas include meetings, hospitality and travel law, contracts, employment law, computer law and trademark and copyright law. She has written numerous articles and is a frequent speaker a wide range of legal issues of interest to industry trade associations, professional societies and other not-for-profit organizations. Barbara is a member of the American, Illinois, Missouri, and Chicago Bar Associations, as well as the St. Louis Society of Association Executives and the Association Forum of Chicagoland. Barbara served as the Chair of the Chicago Bar Association’s Trade and Professional Association Committee in 1998-99. Barbara was the 2005-2006 Chair of the ASAE Legal Section Council – the first woman to serve in such a leadership role. Barbara is also a member of the Academy of Hospitality Industry Attorneys (AHIA) and currently serves on its Board of Directors as Secretary. Barbara also serves on the St. Louis University Hospitality Industry Advisory Board.
