Goutman, Thomas M.

Roberta E. Robbins is a sole practitioner whose areas of practice are Probate andGuardianship and Family Law. She is a graduate of C.U.N.Y.- Queens College (B.A and M.A.) where she graduated with honors and Phi Beta Kappa. She attended N.Y.U. for her Ph.D and received her J.D. from the University of Miami Law School in 1981. After several years as business partner with her husband, she began to practice law in 1985. From 1987 to 1995 she was of counsel to the law firm of Raab & Strader, P.A. Since 1995, she has been a sole practitioner. In 1999 she was appointed by the 11th Judicial Circuit as traffic court Hearing Officer where she still serves part time. Throughout her career she has served on the Family Law Committee and the Probate Committee of the Dade County Bar Association and is a current member of the 11th Circuit Unlicensed Practice of Law Committee C. Besides her membership in the Florida Bar, she is a member of the Dade County Bar Association and the Florida Association for Women Lawyers. She is admitted to the Federal Bar, the Court of International Trade, and the Federal Circuit Court of Appeals. For the past five years she has been a certified Family Court Mediator.
