Goncz, Samuel J.

Michael P. Gonzalez, Esq. is a recent addition to the firm having joined in April of 2013. Mr. Gonzalez has developed numerous business initiatives and possesses a diverse background that assists clients with employment, family and immigration law issues. Prior to joining Shaw and Associates, he practiced at two "boutique" law firms whose specialty areas included personal injury, criminal defense, residential and commercial closings. He is currently a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) and a volunteer for immigration clinics at the New York City Bar. He is a graduate of New York Law School, holds his undergraduate degree from Pace University in White Plains, New York and was admitted to the New York State Bar in 1990. Mr. Gonzalez is an advocate for domestic and international adoptions having personally participated in this process successfully. He lives in Westchester with his wife, Elizabeth, and his son, James.
