Talia Drake is currently an associate attorney handling employment-based and family-based immigration matters. She is admitted to the State Bar of California, the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California and is a member of the Orange Country Bar Association.
Talia graduated Cum Laude from California State University, Long Beach with a bachelors degree in Philosophy and an emphasis in Ethics. She earned her Juris Doctorate degree from Chapman University School of Law in Orange, California. While at Chapman, she studied immigration and refugee law, gaining comprehensive knowledge of the complex immigration system.
Talia has extensive experience with employment-based transactional immigrant and non-immigrant visas as well as experience with family-based immigration and naturalization. Her experience includes prepping and accompanying clients to INS for Adjustment of Status interviews and Naturalization interviews. She also has experience with asylum, waivers of inadmissibility, cancellation of removal proceedings, and motions/briefs to the Immigration Board of Appeals.
In addition to her work with family-based immigration matters and asylum, Talia specializes in employment-based transactional visas. This includes immigrant visas for Aliens of Extraordinary Ability, PERM Labor Certifications, immigrant visas for professionals and skilled workers, as well as employment-based non-immigrant visas such as H1-bs, L-1s and O-1s. Talia's clients include entrepreneurs, investors, professional athletes, and world-renowned actors, musicians and artists.
