Goldis, Michelle A.

Michelle Goldis is a senior associate in the firm's Bankruptcy and Financial Restructuring Practice Group. She joined the firm in 2006.

Practice

Ms. Goldis has represented major insurance companies in complex insurance coverage litigation involving asbestos-related liabilities. She has also represented clients in a variety of bankruptcy-related disputes and litigation.

Ms. Goldis has frequently represented clients in bankruptcy and insolvency-related litigation. She has assisted reorganized debtors in defending against creditor claims. Ms. Goldis’ bankruptcy litigation practice includes both trial and appellate representation.

Representative experience:

• Part of the team of Debtors' counsel for Constar International Inc. et al. Chapter 11 cases
  
• Represent a top, international investment bank in subprime securitization-related litigation.
