Karen V. Reutzel practices in the areas of community association law, condominium law, land use litigation and appeals, and other related real estate and land use matters. Karen has significant experience creating new planned communities and condominium projects (both residential and commercial) as well as condominium conversion projects. She also assists developers with existing common interest communities during the developer control period and represents and advises homeowners associations. In addition, Karen has represented clients in a variety of land use-related matters in various district courts in Colorado, the Colorado Court of Appeals and the Colorado Supreme Court.
Karen graduated from the University of Denver School of Law in 1994. She is a member of the Order of St. Ives and served on the staff of the University of Denver Law Review. She also holds a B.S. in Business Administration. Prior to practicing law, she worked for eight years in the stock brokerage and investment banking fields. Her past business experience assists her in understanding the financial aspects of real-estate development projects.
