Mr. Reinstein’s primary focus is civil litigation. Because his opponent fully understands that Noah will be ready for trial, Mr. Reinstein is often able to resolve matters mutually at an early stage to avoid the time, uncertainty and expense of litigation. When settlement cannot be achieve, however, Mr. Reinstein enjoys litigating cases.
Mr. Reinstein maintains a focus on issues involving employee compensation, handling individual and class/collective action claims regarding unpaid wages, misclassification as an exempt employee, and other issues related to the Fair Labor Standards Act and Wisconsin Wage Payment Laws. He also handles compensation claims involving bonuses, commissions and executive compensation and he enforces employment and independent contractor contracts.
Noah represents whistleblowers in claims filed with the Department of Labor, including Sarbanes-Oxley retaliation and OSHA retaliation. Attorney Reinstein also co-counsels on False Claims Act qui tam actions in federal court.
Noah litigates and resolves employment discrimination claims brought under the Wisconsin Fair Employment Act and Title VII in the Equal Rights Division and Federal Court.
His practice also involves representing employees, who have been adversely affected after engaging in protected concerted activity, before the Wisconsin Employment Relations Commission and the National Labor Relations Board. He handles administrative proceedings before the department of Workforce Development and before the Wisconsin Regulation & Licensing Board. Mr. Reinstein also handles fair hearing, Garrity and Loudermill proceedings, as well as representing employees in all matters.
Mr. Reinstein also assists cooperatives, small businesses and non-profit organizations with drafting articles of incorporation and bylaws.
