Tina Glandian joined Geragos & Geragos as an associate attorney in 2007. Her practice areas include both state and federal criminal law, civil litigation, and appellate law.
Ms. Glandian has served as co-counsel with the firm's managing partner, Mark Geragos, on a number of high-profile cases including the Brent Wilkes trial in San Diego, which has been dubbed the largest corruption case in Congressional history, the Bulos Zumot murder and arson trial in San Jose, and the federal court challenge to the Ohio Elections Commission for attempting to curtail congressional candidate David Krikorian's speech about the incumbent Congresswoman in the election for United States Representative from the Second Congressional District of the State of Ohio.
Ms. Glandian also served as one of the appellate attorneys on the Michael Jackson vs. XtraJet, et al. case, and orally argued the case before Division Three of the Second Appellate District in the Court of Appeal of the State of California.
Ms. Glandian earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication from the University of California, San Diego in 2003, and her Juris Doctorate from Loyola Law School in 2007. She is admitted to practice in all state courts in California and the United States District Court for the Central District of California.
While attending law school, Ms. Glandian served as an Articles Editor for the Loyola of Los Angeles Law Review. In this capacity, she served as a research assistant to Mark Geragos in the publication of The Thirteenth Juror: Media Coverage of Supersized Trials in Volume 39, Number 4, of the law review's journal. As a law student, Ms. Glandian also clerked for the Honorable Dickran Tevrizian at the United States District Court for the Central District of California. In addition, she participated in a summer law program in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where she took courses in international and comparative law and the international protection of human rights.
