Megan was born in Jonesboro, AR and raised in Oxford, MS. She graduated Cum Laude from The University of Mississippi with a B.A. in Business, with an emphasis in Management. After completing her undergraduate degree she attended the University of Mississippi School of Law and graduated Cum Laude in the top one-third of class. In 2010, joined the Baldwin County District Attorney’s office as a full time prosecutor and during her time at there she handled both misdemeanor and felony domestic violence cases, adult and child sexual abuse case as well as juvenile cases and drug court. In 2012, joined Beck Defense as a full time associate, focusing exclusively on criminal defense.
