Daniel is a native of New Orleans who practices primarily in the areas of automobile casualty, property casualty, insurance coverage, premises liability, merchant liability, insurance bad faith and extracontractual liability, workers' compensation, products liability, as well as various areas related to the devolution of property. Daniel has gained extensive experience practicing in both Louisiana's Federal and State Court systems. He is admitted to practice in all Louisiana Courts and has authored briefs submitted to Louisiana's Appellate Courts, The Louisiana Supreme Court, and The United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.
Since being admitted, Daniel has gained experience defending both insurers and businesses in several class and multi-party actions, which stemmed from several catastrophic hurricanes affecting the Gulf Coast Region. He has worked with many of Louisiana's largest insurers in defending personal injury, property damage, and bad faith claims throughout the state and has provided insurers general counseling on coverage and liability issues outside of case-specific litigation. Daniel prides himself on client service as well as keeping his clients apprised of any recent legislation or court decision that effects the legal landscape surrounding the people and companies he represents.
Daniel is an undergraduate of Louisiana State University with a background in finance and economics and he obtained his Juris Doctorate from Loyola University of New Orleans. He is a member of the Federal Bar Association and the Louisiana State Bar Association. Daniel has participated in presenting seminars on ethics, professionalism and bad faith regarding adjusting property insurance claims and he frequently participates in workshops and round-table discussions regarding emerging issues in insurance law. In his spare time, Daniel enjoys his family, friends, and all of the outdoor sporting activities that Louisiana has to offer.
