Gillis, H. Lewis

Giovanni graduated from Sprayberry High school in Marietta, Georgia in 1999 and enrolled in Kennesaw State University. His college experience was less about the classroom and more about experiential learning. Most of his time enrolled in Kennesaw involved backpacking trips to France, Mexico, Guatemala, Belize, Bolivia, Peru, Venezuela, Colombia and Brazil. This “wandering” period allowed Giovanni to develop a unique and well-rounded world view. This world view has served him well in the Legal field.

Giovanni graduated from Mississippi College School of Law in Jackson, Mississippi in 2011. While attending law school, Giovanni served as a Law Clerk for the Mississippi Volunteer Lawyers Project, the American Civil Liberties Union and Hernan, Taylor and Lee. Giovanni heavily involved himself with Student Government. He served as Senator of the Student Bar Association each of his first 2 years and served as President his last year.

Giovanni gained admission to the State Bar of Georgia in November of 2011. He works as an Associate for Taylor, Lee & Associates. Giovanni’s main area of practice is in Immigration Law.
