Brandi received her Doctorate of Jurisprudence from Indiana University in 2006.

Brandi concentrates her practice in family law and civil litigation. Brandi's civil litigation practice includes governmental defense, police liability, premises liability, and general tort liability. Brandi represents cities, towns, townships and counties throughout the State of Indiana. Brandi also represents clients in employment matters, including sexual harassment, race discrimination, wrongful discharge and retaliation claims. Brandi is committed to representing clients in employment matters, beginning with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (E.E.O.C.) process and investigation, and continuing through litigation, if necessary. Moreover, Brandi has counseled and provided seminar representations to public officials and government employees on employment matters, including sexual harassment, race discrimination, wrongful discharge and retaliation claims, in an effort to prevent disputes from arising. Brandi is devoted to representing her clients not only in the trial courts, but also through the appellate process.

Furthermore, Brandi is an owner of a family-owned mechanical contracting company and has experience in assisting companies in becoming certified as minority and women's business enterprises.

Brandi is a member of the Indianapolis, Hamilton County, Indiana State and American Bar Associations. Brandi regularly accepts pro bono cases for clients who could not otherwise obtain legal services through the Heartland Pro Bono Council. In 2007, Heartland Pro Bono Council awarded Brandi a scholarship to attend the National Institute of Trial Advocacy Building Trial Skills Program, and Brandi completed the intensive professional training program in the art of trial skills in October 2007. Brandi is also a volunteer with the Protective Order Pro Bono Project of Greater Indianapolis, which serves to appoint volunteer attorneys to assist and represent domestic violence victims in obtaining protective orders. Brandi volunteers for the Ask Me What's Great About America program through the Indiana State Bar Association, which is a program designed to help educators comply with the federal regulations requiring the development of student programming to celebrate Constitution Day.
