Gibson, Leo J.

Ari Ghosal, a member of Press, Potter & Dozier, LLC,  received his Juris Doctor in 2003 from The Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law. While at Catholic University, he served as Staff Editor of the Catholic University Law Review. Prior to joining Press, Potter & Dozier, LLC, Mr. Ghosal was in private practice, where he focused on civil litigation, business and corporate law, government contracts, and corporate counsel to various small businesses in the Washington-Baltimore area. He began his career as an associate at Whiteford, Taylor & Preston, LLP in Baltimore, Maryland.

Mr. Ghosal regularly represents contractors, architects and engineers, technology professionals and various other businesses from start-up to mature enterprises, including choice of entity decisions and partnership, limited liability company and corporate formation, contract matters, corporate governance matters, compliance programs and regulatory concerns, succession plannings, audits, sales of businesses, liquidation, and stockholder and employment agreements. He provides advice and guidance with respect to the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 and serves as general corporate counsel to several companies in the engineering and information technology industry.

Mr. Ghosal's work includes advising, counseling and representing small business and individual clients in a variety of legal disputes and in all phases of civil litigation before state and federal courts. Mr. Ghosal handles all aspects of business disputes, construction, employment, breach of contract, breach of tort, payment disputes and government contract litigation. He also handles appeals post-judgment, and post-judgment collections.

Mr. Ghosal is also experienced in alternative dispute resolution methods such as mediation and arbitration. 

Mr. Ghosal serves on the Peer Review Committee of the Maryland Bar's Attorney Grievance Commission.

Mr. Ghosal serves on the Board of the Asian-Pacific American Bar Association-Maryland and, as a Board Member, serve as a APABA's Co-Chair of the Judicial Selections Committee to the Maryland State Bar - Court of Appeals.
