Gettinger, Benjamin

Ray was born on August 18, 1976 in Hollywood, Florida. He earned his undergraduate degree with a concentration in Government from Harvard College (A.B. magna cum laude 1999) and his Juris Doctorate degree from Columbia University School of Law (J.D. 2002). Following law school, Ray worked in the corporate department of a large international law firm based in Miami, Florida, where he gained extensive experience in the areas of financial institutions and securities law. Ray is involved in various community and civic activities, including serving on the boards of organizations focused on the homeless and the prevention of drug and alcohol abuse by adolescents. Ray was admitted to The Florida Bar in 2002 and is an active member of the Cuban American Bar Association. He is fluent in Spanish.
