Jeff Ramsey represents real estate private equity funds in US and cross-border real estate investment transactions. He has particular experience in real estate joint ventures and real estate cross-border structuring and restructuring matters.

Key past transactions include engagements for Morgan Stanley Real Estate Funds such as the joint venture arrangements for MSREF's acquisition of Investa Property Group in the largest real estate take-private transaction to date in Australia, MSREF's acquisition with a consortium of investors of more than €280 million of nonperforming real estate loans in Germany, and MSREF's $1.5 billion buyout of Town & Country Trust. Transactions for other clients include representation of Dune Real Estate Fund in the formation of a programmatic joint venture to invest in retail outlet centers in Europe and the Middle East and Westbrook Real Estate Fund in a consortium with other investors when it acquired £365 million portfolio of 20 commercial properties in the UK.

Jeff is a member of the State Bar of Texas and Dallas Bar Associations. He is a volunteer for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
