Gelbert, David R.

Lia Der Marderosian is a vice chair of the Corporate Practice Group, and a member of the WilmerHale Venture Group, the Emerging Company Practice Group and the Life Sciences Group. She is also a member of the firm’s Hiring Committee and a co-chair of the firm’s Associates Committee. She joined the firm in 1997.

Practice

Ms. Der Marderosian has a broad practice focused on corporate and securities law matters. She represents public and private companies, principally in the life sciences area, on a wide range of matters, including formation, corporate governance, venture capital financings, initial public offerings, follow-on and other offerings, mergers and acquisitions and SEC compliance.

The clients she represents include Alnylam Pharmaceuticals, Inc., Catabasis Pharmaceuticals, Inc., Cerulean Pharma Inc., CoNCERT Pharmaceuticals, Inc., Constellation Pharmaceuticals, Inc., Ikaria and Sunovion Pharmaceuticals.

Professional Activities

Ms. Der Marderosian is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association and the Boston Bar Association.
