Geist, Joshua P.

David Denton is a trial attorney with broad experience in civil litigation. For the last ten years, Mr. Denton has represented and counseled clients in business and tort litigation. Mr. Denton was named a "Rising Star" by Texas Monthly and Law & Politics Magazine in 2012, a distinction reserved for the top 25% of the emerging lawyers in Texas who are under the age of 40, or have been practicing ten years or less.

• Lead counsel in successful breach of contract matter before the American Arbitration Association.
• Lead counsel in successful summary dismissal of premises liability cases.
• Lead counsel in successful dismissal of lawsuit and release of Mechanic's and Materialman's lien.
• Co-counsel in successfully opposing a request for temporary injunction that was
  affirmed by the San Antonio Court of Appeals.

Education:

Mr. Denton graduated from St. Mary's University School of Law in 2002. While in law school, Mr. Denton was a member of the St. Mary's Law Journal and Phi Delta Phi, an honors legal fraternity. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of North Texas in 1998, majoring in Political Science.
