Ms. Gaston focuses her practice on insurance coverage and workers' compensation defense. Ms. Gaston's practice includes the resolution of insurance matters including benefits disputes, claims handling and settlement negotiation.

Ms. Gaston's prior work history includes clerking for Federal Magistrate Jeffrey Manske and working with the Harris County Attorney's Office. As a clerk for Judge Manske, she conducted legal research regarding entitlement to social security disability benefits and drafted final orders in social security appeals to the United States District Court. This experience familiarized her with the administrative law system and claims involving extensive medical records and medical history. This experience also provided a solid background for defending insurance claims.

Ms. Gaston provides a reliable source of information and counsel for her clients. She believes that the greatest service she can render to them is education about the potential liability and legal remedies involved in each case.

Ms. Gaston graduated summa cum laude and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of St. Thomas in 2001. She received a Juris Doctor in 2008 from Baylor Law School where she was recognized as one of the top ten speakers in the Strasburger & Price moot court competition. She also competed as a member of a national moot court team. She is currently a member of the American Bar Association, Houston Bar Association and Texas Young Lawyers Association.
