Ian Dember joined Nerwinski, Dember & Fox in August 2011 as our newest associate. He continues the firm approach to the practice of law by providing a wide range of legal services to our clients. Mr. Dember works with each of the Partners of the firm. This will provide greater efficiency for our clients in terms of cost and response time, and brings a fresh legal mind to the issues.
He graduated from Elon University School of Law where he completed a concentration track in general practice. Mr. Dember has a particular interest in the exciting, emerging field of internet law, which encompasses issues of intellectual property, and specialty issues regarding contracts and jurisdiction.
At Elon Mr. Dember distinguished himself during the Legal Ethics and Malpractice Simulation. During the simulation he was selected to script and perform a full model deposition for his class.
At Nerwinski, Dember & Fox, LLC we take our commitment to provide pro bono services to the public seriously. The Partners have undertaken to provide several legal services on a voluntary basis each year. In conjunction with the Elon voluntary project work program, Mr. Dember and a team of students worked on a restructuring of the Education Roundtable. The Higher Education Area Round Table or H.E.A.R.T. of Greensboro is an organization that brings the six universities in Greensboro together to share educational opportunities, advances, and ideas. He will continue and expand our commitment to public service.
