Ryland received his undergraduate degree from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities and his law degree from the University of South Dakota School of Law. While in law school, Ryland served as President of the Client Counseling & Negotiations Board while also serving as a graduate assistant with President James Abbott's office at the University of South Dakota.
Prior to law school, Ryland worked as an investigator with the Minnesota Attorney Gerenal's Office. Before becoming an associate with Klass Law Firm LLP, Ryland clerked for the Third Judicial District in Minnesota. He also practiced law with a Sioux Falls law firm.
Ryland was born in Mitchell, SD. He enjoys watching college basketball and playing tennis.
