Scott Galante has always had the strong desire to help people and is dedicated to helping injured individuals who have been unjustly harmed and need help navigating the legal system.
Scott spent the first five years of his career working in New Orleans and South Carolina offices of a nationally-recognized powerhouse litigation firm. In 2005, he decided to return to New Orleans and set up his own powerhouse litigation firm which was joined shortly thereafter by Salvador Bivalacqua. After a successful litigation history with the Pourciau Law Firm, Scott agreed to become of counsel to the firm in 2012. Scott primarily handles litigation of mesothelioma, asbestos cases, catastrophic injury matters, and general trial work. Scott is on the faculty of Tulane Law School's Trial Advocacy program, is a guest lecturer on Asbestos Practice at Tulane annually, is on the faculty of the Tulane Spring Litigation Boot camp program and is the managing partner of Galante & Bivalacqua LLC. After earning a BA at the University of Southern Mississippi, Scott graduated in 2000 from Tulane with his JD, and a certificate in Environmental Law. There, he was an Administrative Justice on Tulane's Moot Court Board. During law school he was the 1998 Tulane Moot Court Junior Appellate champion. Scott was also a practicing student attorney from 1999-2000 in the Tulane Environmental Law Clinic.
Scott sits on the South Central Regional Board of Trustees and the New Orleans Leadership Council of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. Annually he captains a large team that raises money for the annual Louisiana MS150 event.
Scott Galante has been in private practice litigating on behalf of injured plaintiffs his entire career.
