Herb Pounds is a member of the State Bar of Texas. He graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in accounting, and he obtained his law degree from the University of Texas School of Law in 1973.
After graduating from Texas A&M, he served in the United States Air Force, where he flew over 220 combat missions as a forward air controller pilot of an OV-10 aircraft in Laos and Cambodia. After graduating from law school, he worked primarily in the banking industry, where he served as president of a national bank. Since 1987, he has been an attorney in private practice dealing in banking, real estate, bankruptcy, probate, estate planning, and business litigation. More recently, much of his practice has been focused on securities fraud, broker misconduct, brokerage disputes, FINRA arbitration, mediation, and recovery of investor losses.
Herb is married, has one son, one daughter, and five grandchildren. His hobbies are football officiating and golf.
