Originally from New Jersey, Ms. Daisey-Snyder attended West Virginia University on a Merit Scholarship. She graduated Magna Cum Laude with a B.A. in Political Science and Business Administration. She then attended law school at the University Of Florida Levin College Of Law. During law school Ms. Snyder received honors in trial practice and was a member of the University’s Commercial Arbitration Moot Court Team that travelled to Vienna, Austria to compete against top teams from law schools around the world.
Ms. Daisey-Snyder has wide variety of legal experience in both the public and the private sector. She has been an Assistant Public Defender, an attorney for the Department of Children and Families, as well as an associate at a small private law firm. She has represented thousands of clients and is a fierce negotiator. She is also an experienced trial attorney, having conducted more than 25 jury trials.
Ms. Daisey-Snyder is a member of the Florida Bar and is also licensed to practice in the United States District Court for Middle District of Florida. She is a member of the Jacksonville Bar Association, Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, and currently serves on the Florida Bar’s Constitutional Judiciary Committee. Additionally, Ms. Daisey-Snyder participates in a program sponsored by Jacksonville Area Legal Aid where she handles, pro-bono, bankruptcy cases for people who have fallen on hard times.
