Freeman, John L.

Joseph Czarnik completed his undergraduate studies at Virginia Tech where he earned a Bachelor of Science, cum laude, in Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, in Political Science. Prior to pursuing law school, Mr. Czarnik worked as a Technical Editor for Protia, LLC where he assisted in reviewing and completing more than 240 biomedical patent applications. Mr. Czarnik then went on to earn his Juris Doctor from the University Of Miami School Of Law.

While in law school, Mr. Czarnik worked as both a law clerk for an insurance defense law firm and as a Certified Legal Intern for the Miami Dade State Attorney’s Office. Serving as a law clerk and a Certified Legal Intern, Mr. Czarnik gained extensive civil and criminal litigation experience. Upon completion of his J.D., Mr. Czarnik was admitted to the Florida Bar.

After passing the Florida Bar, Mr. Czarnik worked for Gulf Coast Legal Services in Sarasota, Fla. Mr. Czarnik served as a legal aid attorney providing valuable legal resources and representation to income- sensitive individuals on a wide variety of legal topics.

Mr. Czarnik is an Associate Attorney at KEL assisting clients through the intake process by determining the initial strategy for new clients.
